Movies
Saw Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban on Monday, very very good movie. Though, I hate watching a good movie when people all of a sudden decide to get out a packet of chips. Them eating the chips don't really bother me, it's when they decided to open it up, WHEN EVERONE IS QUIET AND THERE IS A QUIET SCENE ON. I mean, I do it all the time, but I do it to crappy movies. Much like Elf, I had the unfortunate pleasure of watching that at the movies. By god that was the worse thing I've seen. See, movies like those you need some al-foil, or lots of chips to surpass the movie and try to boycott it for anyone else trying to "watch" it.
Oh, before the movie was actually shown, you know how they always have ads for stuff like the shop out where you can buy lollies, and general insurance ads. Well, I don't know whether or not this is new, but they had a piracy ad on. Not really interesting, but I thought it was funny. Just the way that they portray people downloading movies off the internet, as one girl was sitting at her computer on the "internet" with an IE window up and a giant button saying "DOWNLOAD". Obviously meaning that there was a movie up for download. You know... What ever.
Just wondering, why do those happy children singing groups (Hi5, The Wiggles) always sing about happy families? Why can't they sing about something more realistic like some 5 year old crackwhore selling herself on the black asian market (haha, black asian.), or even about their fathers that were constantly drunk 5/4 times a week and beat them up because they didn't put any sugar on their daddy? (Ew.) I think they'd make much more money than they do now.
Had my night drive lesson last night. Hurrah for it being dark! The only thing left for me to do is the PR2 and the final check drive (dunno if it's the same as the VORT test). If I pass them all, I will have my P's! Yay me.
Ugh, I got my report today. I didn't even know that it was in the letterbox, obviously it was. I did pretty well in math (well, as good as someone who didn't do anything all year I suppose), I got an 11 for that. I think I should do some work in math. My other classes I got 14-16, pretty good if you ask me. I haven't gotten anything for physics yet, hopefully it's not too bad. Oh well, what can you do.
