Lazy
Ugh, I've been so lazy since my last post, and I don't know why. I have not done anything since the 13th July. Well, other than go to Terry's place. I'll tell you about that! I went to Terry's (known him for ages) for a "party". I say it like that because it was really just a last chance for people to get pissed on the holidays. It was rather fun, I didn't get drunk (should I need to get drunk to have fun?) but I had fun anyway. I find it more enjoyable to look at other people get drunk and watch them try and get around. Much more fun that way, because then people remember what happens (most likely me) and laugh about it later on in the week.

Today was quite an eventful day for me. Since today at lunch was really boring (only because most of the people were out with their cars driving around getting food, or at the darwin show spending rediculious amounts of money) I decided to make my own fun. Well, it was really Daryl and I since we got really bored, we started to play "golf" with a power cord (one of the ones that you use to connect to your power supply, but it was for a kettle) and a cookie on the ground. We each took turns trying to hit the cookie as far as we could, I succeeded in obliterating the cookie into a thousand and one pieces around the room and hall.

After that, I got really bored and though I'd go out into the hall and start spinning around! It started off with just me spinning around in circles, and then trying to walk in straight lines with my eyes closed. By the way, that is the scariest thing to do, specially when you aren't even walking, yet you still feel like you are going to implode and fall over. Then, just before the end of lunch, Nat and I decided that we needed to spin really really fast in circles to try get the dizziest. I think I won that round, because for the next to lessons and up to now, I feel like I have to vomit. It isn't the best feeling in the world, and by god I don't think I'll ever spin around in circles just for my own enjoyment ever again.

I have a job now! Yay! I have my first shift at Kmart for nightfill! I feel good now that I have a job, other than that I'm going to have money, and I'll be able to buy stuff, so hooray for that. Saturday, I'm going to the show with some friends to do stuff (I don't do rides, so I'll be watching/holding stuff) and tomorrow is a public holiday!

That reminds me, I have some history work to do, yet I forgot to bring it home... Damn. Oh well, off to play some games.

Huzzah!
Finally got the new parts for the computers and I spent most of yesterday (well, not really most of yesterday, it was more like the hours after 6pm. Whatever) trying to get the thing connected to the net as quick as possible. What ended up happening was I install the hardware, install a few programs (windows and such) and all of a sudden, the moment the internet is hooked up dad gets on there and starts taking over. It seems whenever he gets on there and installs things "the right way" (more like the wrong way).

My dad must think he is internet/computer savvy (only because he thinks what porn sites I go to by checking the cookies) and he started to scream at me because the internet wasn't working. IE:
Him: "WHY DOES IT ASK ME IF I WANT TO WORK IN OFFLINE MODE?! WHAT DID YOU DO" (Note the emphasis on you/me)
Me: (From about 4 metres away sitting on cold tiles) "I don't know, it was working when I was on there"
Him: "*grumble* Whatever the hell you have done to it, it always asks me to work in offline mode"
At this point, I'm trying to ignore him and browse the internet as I would normally do, not only is it hard, but it's really fucking annoying that I had just had it working only 2 minutes ago, and the moment this internet savvy person gets on the computer, he blows it up.
Me: "Well take it out of offline mode then"
Him: "WHY WOULD IT BE IN OFFLINE MODE IN THE FIRST PLACE"
(My favourite part), Me: "BECAUSE YOU OPENED AN IE WINDOW WITHOUT IT BEING ON THE INTERNET, WHEN YOU DISABLE THE NETWORK (stupidest thing to do), YOU AREN'T ON THE INTERNET THEREFORE YOU ARE OFFLINE"
God I was pissed off to the max at this point. I get sick of trying to fix things and then have my head bitten off when I try to tell him that he broke it.

After all this shouting (I was surprised my mum didn't come down and find out wtf was wrong), I got up to fix the thing, and I of course I was right, he had to take it out of offline mode to get on the 'net. I nearly stabbed him in the face when I did that. I mean, I had to walk 4 metres from where I was sitting on the ground to the computer. He of course tried to save face and gave some bullshit reason that he was putting it out of offline mode and doing other shit. I've just completely given up on it all, it to me is a lost cause.

We have an "unlimited" DSL plan, all it means is that after 12GB of downloads our ISP "throttles" the download speed. I haven't yet found out what the throttled speed is, but I'm sure it will be slow. Anyway. The whole point of changing to this plan was so that I didn't have to worry about me downloading too much and then paying for excess downloads which is normally 20c per MB which equates to a lot of money after just one GB. I have downloaded probably 11.99GB already this month and the counter resets at the 21st, of course dad still believes that we have to pay for any excess downloads that we do. I have beaten it into his head many times that there isn't any excess fee, which was the whole reason why we changed over to the plan from our original 2GB/month limit. So he has a whine about there only being 200MB left and that I have no comprehension of what I've been doing. The stupidity of some really amazes me. I wonder if he knows that if I don't use up the 12GB, we wouldn't have any of the programs that we have now (shush though :-P).

The reason I was sitting on the floor (if some of you people really want to know) was that the only way I was able to transfer some of my larger more needed files (like irc logs, and downloads and stuff) was to keep my computer down here until I have finished moving files over. Things are much more easier to move files over a network than move files over with a few CDRW's.

Speaking of computers, I spent some money yesterday on a well deserved thing. I bought a DVD-ROM! It only took me a few years to comply with the current hardware things, though the only thing I need now is a DVD-RW and I'll be right!

Boring
My god I'm bored, I have nothing to do. Well not really nothing to do as I'm suppose to be helping my mum clean up my room and move my stuff into my new room (I got bored of that quickly). So now I have dust up my nose, and it's making me want to sneeze, but I can't sneeze. You know, that terrible feeling between trying to sneeze and sneezing? It sucks. Of course, having a blocked nose doesn't help at all.

I was checking my stats the other day (well, it was more like last month some time, but that is really the other day), and I found some sicko had found my site through a google search of: "fat jack" pornography. WHAT HAS THE WORLD COME TO?. What kind of person would search for something like that. What the hell is fat jack porno? I searched for whatever the hell this person was looking for, and I ended up with getting "fat bitches shitting all over man's penis and sucking it off". Internet users like these sicken me, who sicken me more are those who make the "scat sites" (haha, scat) Image here.

I had some interesting stuff to say, but again, I've forgotten. I think I have... um... I've forgotten the word (ha, the irony), alzheimers disease. Dunno, I'll just think of something, and then I'll do something else and woops! I've forgotten what I was going to do/say.

I'm beginning to hate that I have my computer downstairs, even though I have paid it all off (minus a few odds and ends here and there), the thing is mine. My dad doesn't seem to think so. Let me recap: I run mIRC all the time (whenever I'm on the internet and because I've got dsl, it's always on), anyway, my dad has a tendancy to close everything of mine because it always looks like I'm downloading (well, I am in a way). For whatever reason he has, he decides to constantly close mIRC on my computer when he wants to use it. Why? It's not like I'm using mIRC to download porn (I use bittorrent thank you very much). It pisses me off, he can do it when it's his computer, but not mine. *Stab stab stab*

To leave on a good note: Sexual encounters with animals? (Note: it's not really sick, but if you find animal porn disgusting, please don't hesitate to visit dolphinsex)

Hermit
Yup, I've been called a hermit. You see, there is a concert on this Saturday called Bass in The Grass where different bands come up and play for something like 12 hours. It doesn't sound like much fun to me, as there are only going to be a few good bands. The rest are some local crap. Now I know it probably would be exciting to go to, but it doesn't strike me as fun. I was actually going to have a big whine about it because I thought about what I was going to say earlier, but I kinda forgot. I think I have some kind of chronic ADD, as my attention to anything leaves a lot to be desired.

I'm getting sick of my Dad whoring around that I know a lot about computers. First off he tells the neighbours across the road (we are good friends with them) that I have something like 15 thousand songs. I was a bit iffy about telling them about it, but I got over it. The next thing I know, my Dad is telling our hair-cutting-person (I forgot the actual name for it) that I'd help her to download songs. So here I was trying to teach this old woman how to use mIRC. That was my first mistake, I got sick of trying to help her, so I just told her "Use KaZaa, it would be much easier". Remind me never to help old people download music. What's worse is that my Dad tells people that I download movies. Annoying++.

You are offically reading a Kmart employee's blog. I'm being employed as nightfill, so I'll have some money soon. Though I have to ring up Tech Chips to find out what my member number is for some thing I joined while I was there. God, I don't want to ring them up, I hate that place and I'm sure to hell that they all hate me there.

Well, there is around 2 weeks left until I go back to school, so I have very little time left on my hands. I can only hope that I won't be too busy in school to do anything.

I'm Spartacus!
There are only a few times that I do not hate being in the NT one of them was yesterday as yesterday was Territory Day. For those who are uninformed, the Northern Territory and the ACT are the only two territories that still allow fireworks. Though that restriction only lasts for a day (well, not a day anymore, stupid politicians and animal rights people), whatever time there is legally to explode fireworks is fun.

So yes, I spent the remainder of last night (after coming home from the trailer boat club where they had some giant half an hour firework spectacular!) letting of whatever crappy ones my mum had bought a few hours earlier. It was alright I suppose, a lot of smoke though. When there are probably hudreds if not thousands of fireworks being let off and there is no wind, the smoke tends to pile up. So it made my eyes hurt after a few minutes of being outside.

You are reading the future-maybe-employee-at-kmart blog! Yes, I went for an interview yesterday at Kmart, I thought it was going to take something like half an hour. Jesus, the thing took a whole of 5 minutes. The longest I had to wait for was when I was at the front desk and something was wrong with something, dunno I wasn't paying attention. Either the people at the front desk are stupid, or I look old, because while I was waiting there some woman (looked like she was 50+ and had too many skin pully things, and then bathed in white paint) asked me if I was waiting there to buy some smokes. I mean, WHAT THE FUCK?!

I got my new bed today! Hurrah! So I had something to do when I came back from the interview. I moved into my "new" room last night too, it's not really new, but it's my parent's old room as they are getting the new room. So I have to move everything from my room over, though when I mean everything, I really mean my computers and I can't move them until I have a desk. I think I need to pester my dad into talking to the guy where he got his desk from, I only hope that the guy has one like it, but only bigger (like maybe 7 feet :-)

While I was eating some lunch yesterday (I had fruit, there has been nothing else to eat) and when I had scraped out the innards of a rockmelon we had, it fell on the newspaper so weirdly. It looks like some kind of creepy alien type thing. When I first looked at it I thought of "Alien", so I started to poke it with a spoon. For those curious.

You people suck, you haven't said anything about the new layout.

The power of christ compells you to comment on my new layout

Posts
Pheew, it's been nearly a week since my last post. Not that I haven't wanted to post, but there has been nothing to post about. So I decided that I'm due for a long post and hopefully something interesting happens in it.

Well, I saw Mean Girls on Tuesday with Taryn and Nat. It was an alright movie I suppose. It was as good as it can get for a chick flick (yes that is what it was). There were parts in the movie that needed a sharp stab in the eye with a spoon. It is a movie probably not worth paying the $9.50, but downloading it. Oh well, what can you do, I suppose it was better than staying at home while the carpet guy bashed and crashed upstairs. Speaking of carpet, after I came home from the movies, the carpet guy was still here, and because where the carpet was being lain down was opposite my room. So if I wanted to get to my room, I either had to let him know that someone was at home, and that not to worry that someone was walking around inside. I don't think I was that desperate to get into my bedroom and change my clothes. Oh well.

Before I went off to the movies, I got a call from the woman at coles (do you remember this post?) asking when it was a good time for a Kmart interview. Yay. So, I'm going into Kmart today at 5 for an interview. Though the woman on the phone said something about only a nightfill position being available. Whatever. I'm sure I'll be able to get into something else (Hopefully).

There isn't much left to post at all. Oh I'm getting a new bed today, so I have to wait for the delivery people to ring and say, "Hey, we have your beds.", then I most probably will have to help them carry the damn thing up to my room just to make sure they don't scratch the paint. I'm not the only one getting a new bed, my sister is too, but no one cares about that. That sounds incredibly mean... OH WELL.

I"m getting sick of this layout, I think I want a new one. What do you people think of this one? That is if it doesn't get used for fearable.

While I think of it, I'm still using my computer for the internet. The parts for the other computer is still MIA, and it's getting rather annoying having my family just freely use my computer. I've tried to deter them off it by locking it (WINKEY + L) when I don't use it, but of course they have a whine about it being locked and that if I don't unlock it I have to take it upstairs and not use the internet. Not only that, but my sister decides to whore about and listen to my songs. It's annoying++. (Note the bolded pluses).

Anyway, I'm off to get some "lunch" and do some PHP (backend for fearable). Hopefully when school goes in I'll have something to talk about regularly and not just a collaberation of what I've done over the past week which is no doubt boring to most of the people that read blogs. So some social interaction will probably bring up some really, really needing abuse towards them.
